About Us

Southside Engineering specialises in CNC machining/manufacturing of quality metal components and tools to service a vast range of industries throughout Australia i.e. automotive, hardware, structural, defence, security etc.

We are a family run business with over 45 years of experience. A bay side company which started out in Moorabin and is now based in Mordialloc, and has been for the past 17 years. Southside Engineering has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality components, on time. We pride ourselves on our great workmanship.



Southside Engineering has highly skilled workforce who are dedicated in supplying quality machined components using our substantial inventory of CNC Lathes and Machining Centres. This technology offers a superior quality supply of high precision machined components from a one off prototype to large scale production.


Components can be machined directly from CAD information, drawing or a supplied sample. Our qualified design engineers can also assist with design and generate CAD drawings.

We can also manufacture components that can be subcontracted for finishings i.e. anodising, nickel/chrome plating, powder coating.


We continue to regularly train our employees in all up to date practices.
